Mrs. Louise Wilkins Monette Shelton, age 85, of Cumming died Friday, April 9, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Shelton was born in Halifax Co. on July 22, 1924 to the late Eva Byerley and W.W. Wilkins, Sr. and was married to the late L.C. Monette (1st Husband) and the late J.W. Shelton (2nd Husband). She was a retired broker for J.W. Shelton Auction & Realty Co. and a member of First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include sons, Robert W. Monette of Atlanta and Dan C. Monette of Richmond; a brother, Bailey Wilkins of Amherst; 29 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, April 19th, at Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Turbeville, VA. The family will receive friends at the church for one hour prior to the service.
